The header plate is for V8's ONLY. If you purchase from American Muscle or other third party Camaro sites they all list it to fit a V6. But it does not. If you talk to the manufacturer ACC they will not sell it to you if you tell them you have a V6.

It needs modified for the V6. More specifically, it needs cut on the top end. Other than that it's a crap shoot as to whether or not the screw holes line up. If they don't they're only off a little bit. Nothing that can't be fixed with a small file.

Installation is replacing 4 OEM header bolts with those supplied. The supplied bolts are tapped to receive the small screws that hold the plate.
