'24 SS - Magnaflow Axle Back DRONE at low RPMS
Just installed a Magnaflow axle back exhaust (part #19339) on my '24 SS 6 speed. It sounds great but there is a VERY loud drone at 1,500 - 2,000 RPM in every gear. Called Magnaflow and they have NO solutions. Any advice? J- pipes? Resonators? Is Flowmaster or Billy Boat any better? Thanks for any help.

Why did you order a magnaflow. Tons of reviews here claiming the same from 2016

That sucks, but I second the Borla recommendation. I installed a Borla Atak axle back a few weeks ago and zero drone at any rpm. Corsa supposedly doesn't drone either. AWE claims to not drone and is much cheaper than Borla or Corsa.

I have Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back on my ZL1 and have noticed ZERO drone at any level in the short time I've had it on(about a year)....plus it sounds badass...

Magnadrone! I do like the sound, but they all drone. Had 'em on a few of my cars, and some I chose to live with, BUT....they all drone. Chose the AWE on my SS because they claim no drone, and I'm here to say it's true. No drone. It's loud, but no drone.

Unless you go with another product you need to add a bullet resonator somewhere in the midpipe to tone it down, I think that that's you only option aside from total replacement.
