whipple pulley question

I have a 2.9 whipple on a stock ls3 (has headers, cats, cai and tune) and run on 93 octane. The pulley is a 4 inch currently. i was wondering how much smaller pulley I can run on 93 octane and what kind of gain I might get by changing the pulley size?

Gotta see if you have enough fuel pump and injectors, then maybe think of the pulley.

In order to run any more boost you must upgrade the injectors, fuel pump and calibration.

I can help you with all of that.

Talking to Mike Malicoat @ Whipple, I was told several years ago that a good rule of thumb is about +25hp for every 1/8" of pulley diameter decrease.

If I recall correctly, I was tapped out on the fuel system around the 625rwhp mark.
