400 horse should roast the tires to second gear!
Try the fuse pull, made a significant difference for mine. Details are in the stickies.

I thought the L99 is never able to do a burn out because the tires are too sticky.

I actually want the option of AFM on the LS3. An option to disable it when not wanted of course.

Why not get more mpg on the LS3 if GM could do it at little - no cost to us?

L99 with 500 miles. I can smoke them all the way into 2nd with no problem. Haven't done the fuse pull yet.

Is that with your foot on the brake, or are you just slamming it?

Well I have had my SIM since August and it has never been able to break free, pulled the fuses last night and going out this afternoon lets hope she pulls harder than it used to.
I have always ran high grade shell, or petro can fuel in it, but who's to say the dealer didn't have regular in it when I bought it?
Mind you the highest grade of fuel around here is only 91, is there an after market octane boost that actually works or should I get some C12 race fuel and mix in a couple of liters per tank?

I can only get my tires to spin halfway up through first, then they kinda judder the rest of the way, like they are grabbing and slipping again. Almost there

Well it is better than before, only about a 3 foot tire spin in 1st only no chirp into 2nd....but it did seem to pull harder, the temp out side was only about +9 degrees c so the rubber wouldn't have been sticky enough to really hold the pavement, I was hopeing for a little better than that.

What do you all think.....is there a dealer trip in my near future for them to try and trouble shoot, or is this about normal?
I do know it is running very rich as the tail pipes are are pitch black with soot.
Spring will be a vector motorsports tune I think.

silver, get yourself some OBDII scanner and a WB, and see exactly what your afr is, and how much timing your running. keep notes on KR as well. seems to me we can help each other out here.....
i dont want to adorn the camro with guages and crap, trying to keep it real clean, but i use HPT scanner and a LM-1 / tailsniffer for now. saw a nice set of knock ears at sema.
the wife even let me look into buying a portable dyno, to fulfill my enthusiast needs.

the efi live guy from new zealand was real cool, after talking with HPT AND EFI LIVE in person back to back, efi clearly was the better option. heard too many "i dont know's" from hpt, in regards to the camaro bugs. bluecat's ve table magic is already built into efi.

Did you have traction control on or off? With it on you will only get 5-6 feet.
