I certainly will. I prefer to do it myself and save the money, but I really want to make sure fitment is perfect and tight/clean. My main concern is putting them on worn seat foam. I'm sure it will be fine, but new foam would have been preferable. I'm not concerned about the rear seats though. My originals look brand new still, so the underlying foam should be perfect.

I installed a Katzkin Leather kit on my 2002 Avalanche... They looked super loose, didn't fit very well, etc... The problem was not the kit itself. The problem was that the truck was over 10 years old and the foam was squished and worn so the foam wasn't plush enough to properly fit the cover. I took it to a professional interior shop, they removed the covers added some foam to the seats and then they came back looking great. So if your seats are well worn, I recommend having a professional shop install them. If you want to save a few bucks, remove the seats yourself and bring them in seperately. If you are trying to go the whole mile and do the door panels and center console...Then you probably will want to just drop the car off at a professional shop.

Been looking at wheels and not quite ready to pull the trigger on a set yet.....
So I decided to change what I have just a little.... Small change but made a big impact I think for the overall look of the car... Looks more aggressive to me. Also did a polish compound and a wax on the entire car...

Installed Five8 coilovers in the front, lowering it about one inch. First time doing this, so it took me about 4 hours. Feels very planted, and the slightly lower stance looks good. Also installed a splitter in the front, which enhanced the look a bit.
Doing the rear coilovers, side skirts and rear diffusers later this week ![]() ![]() ![]()

SWEET! Wow! love that short throw shifter. Very nice! and you didn't take enough off to make it that much harder to shift either I had a vw Golf once that had a super short modified shifter in it but it was so short it was actually a bit of a pain to get into gear sometimes but that might have been because it had issues with the synchronizers or something becasue the trans blew about 3 months after my poor buddy Billy bought it. I helped him swap it since I felt guilty (and his dad said something to my dad about it which didnt help)
