Icemen125,
The fact that they responded is great. I would try to get more info so GM Service doesn't have to obtain it. Most likely there's a minimum quantity to order. If you can get that number from Multimatic, you can leverage that with GM Service to get them moving. For example of it's 10 sets, you can go to your dealer and share the info and commit to buying them. That might be enough to get them moving.

Multimatic still makes DSSV dampers. I have them on my brand new truck, ZR2. Not sure why they can't service them. But if you want to go aftermarket, you're going to want a set that is setup for your car. I would give Stranoparts a call. I've raced with guys that have brands from other companies mentioned in this post, and to say that the products are underwhelming is being nice. The factory stuff works INCREDIBLE. Look at what the fastest racers use, not what Joe-blow from a cruise night uses. For me, I would call Sam, and see if Penske makes a 5th gen option.

I have been leaning toward the Fortune Auto 500 series as I can pick my spring rates and would like to keep it as close to stock z rate as possible. Any one (I know that's the hard part) have any input? I do not want to replace with a aftermarket strut with a stock or lowering spring as I want dampening adjustment. Thanks!
Have you considered Five8 coilovers? I just installed them from americanmuscle.com. you can adjust the height and spring rate.

I will most likely be going with Ohlins this winter, unless I find a deal on KW V3's.
