There's a truck load of parts I wish I had saved. I've got the burned Inconel valve from my last pass ever, sitting right here on my desk. I've got the compressor wheel from the first BB turbo I destroyed... and a few other various items.

Hmmm, we talking then or now...

I love Heart, first concert I ever went to... A friend broke up with his girlfriend and he offered the tickets to me...I didn't have anyone at the time to go with so I suggested we go... Got high, enjoyed the music... He and I met in the 5th grade and we are friends to this day...

As for female artist... oh man... Anne or Nancy... Yes....

Marie Fredriksson... AKA Roxette...
Anni-Frid Lyngstad... ABBA...
Stevie Nicks... Fleetwood Mac...
Linda Ronstadt...

But in a (? vs ?), Mary Ann All day, every day.. Always has been, always will be. ..

Well I'm getting closer...

Here is the computer desk with the hutch lighting completed. It's an LED rope light with diffuse lighting rather than intermittent lights in a rope. The color is continuous... I was hoping it was closer to the Alienware Blue, but it's close enough... It also looks better in person than in the image. It isn't so washed out and you can see the hats.

I had to remove the hutch, which is pretty easy, unplug the monitors at the back, both the power and signal cables, move them and remove two screws underneath the desk top. Pick it up and walk away... Then I had to cut the channels for the light rope to pass through, and I used a quality indoor/outdoor silicone to adhere the cable just inside the front edge.

Now to finish up cleaning and organizing the cables and I'll be done with the setup and install.
The light on the wall coming up from behind the right monitor is a star image projector. It displays star images on the wall and ceiling. I'll adjust the pattern in time... On the right wall, just to the left of the B-17 image, you can see an observatory on the wall.

Looking good!

Only thing missing is some Fanatec gear, I hear they're making nice and affordable direct drive stuff nowadays. I have an older belt drive unit that's been very good, only problem I've had with their stuff is the brake pedal being a little twitchy.

... oh, and Assetto Corsa FTW

I actually have the wheel and pedals, as well as the rudder pedals to go with the stick and throttle set up on the desk already….

In the low light they may not be readily visible…

I’ll have to look up Assetto Corsa…

You may have to tell us more about the mods. I've had it for years and used to play it more, but got away from it, now getting back in after I saw Roberts sweet setup.

The have quite a few new tracks I see, and got a Mustang in the software update, but it just keeps running off the track.....

Some guys here play, and was discussed this past fall.

Reddit has a huge community, very active.
https://www.reddit.com/r/assettocorsa/

A lot of mod sites out there, linked from reddit, and also found in a Google search.

Steam has a pretty big community also, but I find reddit easier to deal with.
