Lightbulb Side Markers Review - Ruxifey vs ISC

I wanted to share a comparison of side markers from two different companies: RUXIFEY and ISC. I've had Ruxifey side markers for about one year. When 1-2 LEDs on a single rear side marker began to flicker or die (per some older Amazon reviews), I decided to try ISC's offering.

----------

RUXIFEY is currently the much more affordable option at roughly $44 total via Amazon for two front and two rear side markers. In contrast, the ISC tinted side markers (part number ISC-1015SSM) via Phastek is on sale for $102. According to Phastek, their normal price for the ISC markers is $120.

Here's a photo of the ISC side marker, turned off, installed on my ashen gray Camaro. If you look closely, you'll see "DOT SAE" and "L" (to denote the left side of the car, I presume) on face of the product.

In this photo, the ISC markers are on the bottom with better hidden LEDs. Additionally, the LEDs look closer to a faint white in contrast to RUXIFEY's orange/yellow. The ISC markers have a black textured trim around the edge of the marker, whereas the RUXIFEYs appear to have a smooth plastic lens covering the entire face of the product. While I prefer the smooth face of the RUXIFEYs, I like how the ISC's LEDs aren't visibly orange up close. The plastic around the LEDs has a darker tint on the ISCs. Also, I noticed that the power plugs on the RUXIFEYs appeared to either have some corrosion or just dried soap/wax (I use a foam cannon to wash my car) when I uninstalled them.

Lit up, the RUXIFEYs -- on my passenger side -- glow into the black space around the LEDs.

In contrast, the ISCs -- on my drivers side -- show a bit of glow around the LEDs, but it's more focused and therefore looks sleeker in my opinion. My eyes might be playing tricks on me, but it also seems like the strip of LEDs is slightly longer than that of RUXIFEY.

In person, the LED brightness seems similar enough between both brands that I found no obvious difference. If my original side marker had not begun to flicker, I probably would not have spent the money on the ISCs. It was honestly tempting to buy a new rear pair of RUXIFEYs. That being said, I'm happy with the ISCs and do like how they look at night.

Thank you!

The RUXIFEYs are definitely pretty solid for the price. To add to your point about the the "DOT SAE" lettering, there's also "L" and "R" on the ISCs to denote which side of the car they go on haha.

EDIT: Added the points about the lettering to the review.

Thanks for sharing your review. I have the ghosted Oracle's on mine. The previous owner installed them not sure when and I have owned the car for about 7-8 years now. If they ever crap out then I will look into these.
