Stitching coming loose - 2011 2LT interior

Hi all! My 2011 is having some issues with stitching coming loose. After 13 years of owning her, I'm lucky to have such seemingly minor issues. Appreciate any help and advice you can provide!

First, the driver's outside shoulder near the seatbelt strap has the stitching coming apart.

Second, the steering wheel stitching along the interior right side has loosened and so the leather noticeably pulls away.

I am fairly good with a needle (I do embroidery and fiber arts), so I may be able to DIY the steering wheel stitching. I'm thinking getting my hair dryer to warm up the leather and slowly pull it back into place, but I'm not sure how the stitching is constructed on the underside to keep it taut against the surface. Anyone have experience with this?

But the driver's seat has me a little worried. Has anyone had stitching pull apart like this, and how did you fix it? I'm certain standard mechanic shops wouldn't fix interior cosmetics like this... Anybody have recommendations for shops that could fix small interior issues like this?

Thanks!

Depending on where you are at, you should be able to find an auto upholstery shop to repair it. They are harder to find than they used to be, but they are still around. Ask at a custom car shop or maybe a body/paint shop.

Hard to tell from the picture, but steering wheel may be a matter of needing to be reglued.

Sweet, I'll look around for an auto upholstery shop!

And GLUED?! I never would have thought, what with the stitching looking the way it is...

Do you have any glue recommendations that would be fitting for this, leather+plastic I'm assuming is the body surface. Something that would hold up in the heat as well, it gets sweltering in Texas even in the shade.

Appreciate the help!

I really can’t tell enough from the picture for more advice on the steering wheel. But if the leather edge isn’t supposed to be under trim, it is probably glued down.

Here's another picture. The left side is in perfect shape. It looks like the leather goes under the silver edge trim.
