I'm not so sure Craigslist is the best place to sell this vehicle. Have you thought about BAT, Hemmings or maybe even here on Camaro5? Not sure when auction season starts in your area but here in PHX January to March has a lot of out of state folks meandering through with sacks o' cash and they're always paging through CL, FB and Offer Up. Always a good time to sell. You could put in your ad "there's a guy in AZ who says I'll probably regret selling this". Might be good for a laugh. 😃 But seriously your ad looks pretty solid and I don't think your price is unreasonable. GLWS!

Good advice! Offer Up is my next venue. I don't use FB (shudder) And yes, I'm going to put that line in my ad. hahaha Love it!

Edit: Just added the line. haha

lol I see you actually added that there’s a guy in az who says your gonna regret it funny stuff! There’s a guy in NM that agrees with him! I get it though. I really do. I’ve seen the list of retirement cars you’ve got and it’s a very commendable list. Gotta thin the herd to make room!

Grin! I know I will regret it but I have a list longer than a toilet paper roll, of cars I've regretted getting rid of. When I told my SIL I was selling it, he said, "So, you're selling my inheritance, huh?" hahaha He's an old Camaro guy too.

We get one go around. I need to die with my dream cars in the garage.

Craigslist is absolutely the wrong place to sell also, this this is the wrong time of the year to sell a convertible-(own 3 myself). Might be worth it to see how the elections go and sell in late February next year. My own opinion is your asking a bit too much at this point in time with interest rates and the state of the economy. Because of the lack of support from OEM and aftermarket none of these cars will ever see a large collector market. GM is slowly killing their future by zero support for current owners.

If I was just selling a convertible, I would be worried about the time of year.

Edit: Actually, no, I wouldn't. A car sells on its own merits. A buyer buys on those merits regardless of the time of year.

As much as I hate Facebook, it is a better place to list the car, but don't list it in the groups because trollers will only tell you it's worth 15k tops. You can turn off comments to prevent that.

Yeah, no FB here. Not an option. I will do nothing that favors Zuck. Nothing.

Thanks for the words of encouragement, guys!

Redcoat, I've seen one here in the parking lot of an Albertsons. It was a white, V6 hardtop. Sharp looking car. I wanted to talk to the owner but after a few minutes had to leave. I had ice cream in the trunk. It's the only other one I have seen other than the ones I have seen online.

A local dealership is trying to get a copy of the window sticker from GM. Even though I am asking $4K over KBB, they are very interested and are trying to figure out a way to meet my price, which I find most interesting. I know that in 5 or 10 years, assuming I'm still alive, I'll be kicking myself in the ass as I watch it go across the block for $$$$.

Oddly enough i was able to sell my Car on FB marketplace. No negative comments or bad offers. Honestly I was offered some pretty cool stuff ranging from a 20' racing boat to a widebody c6 corvette with a built 416 motor. I finally settled on a cash buyer for $25k. I would however... Stay away from the facebook groups. You will get alot of negative hate there. Alot of guys in those groups are just trolls.
