Even better now. I went over the whole car minus the fresh paint and the panels the shop I took it too last week hit. I used a white hex logic for a very very light cut with some chemical guys 38, to cut thru some water spots and other very light surface imperfections, then washed it again afterward. Let’s play a game… it’s called find the power plant in the paint lol.

Glad to see you got your car fixed back Aqua, just curious though why didn't you have the side skirts painted during the downtime also.

Thanks man. I’m working on some other financial goals and elected to move the money in that direction. They are easy to get off and I’m going to get them done maybe this winter. We’ll see how that goes.

Thanks for the kind words I really appreciate that. I’m looking forward to getting a splitter back on it and then paint matching the GFX stuff black to match the stripes, next plan look wise is a set of OE black 5th Gen ZL1 wheels to pull it all off.

Performance Division badge on the upper radiator support, I’m assuming? Those and the GM fender “chicklets”, go for quite a fair price.

Yep it’s still there too. Funny thing about the chicklets… I ordered a replacement when I bought all the parts to put the car back together. GM had superseded the original part number… ok no big deal I say to my self… it comes in. It’s about 1/3 smaller than the original. Nope. Not having that. That’s why I re used the original.

Yeah just need to find some way of recording track times, I'm sure there's a thread or two on here about those already, I think the biggest track mod is going to be getting a new daily hough, it's hard to push the car knowing you need it for work come Monday.

I've got an old Traqmate timer setup in my C5 but some of the folks in my area use the Race Chrono App. If you've got excessive cash to get rid of you can step up to a Garmin Catalyst. Big bucks but very cool for times and video.
