What's weird here is I have never seen an add popup or any spam using this site and I come on almost every day. Just don't post much. Now I use a Chromebook and my settings may keep them at bay.

Yeah, I suspect the same number of them have always been here. It's just that now there are apparently very few active mods to thwart them.

I used to be a Mod on 3rd Gen.org and we had a Mod for every single section, I am sure if they asked a few of us would step up and help out. Maybe we could even help prevent some from getting band/Suspended as I see more people band/Suspended here then on any of the other forums that I am on. It sucks because searching threads there appears to have been some very active and knowledgeable people band/Suspended here and that hurts all of loosing the knowledge and traffic. I am on this site a couple times a day as I find the FB groups useless.
