Thanks for the reply.

I was able to find and order 22785363 and 23164564.

All I need to find now is someone who actually has 23164576 as the last place I found it refunded me due to non accurate inventory.

I'm assuming you meant 23164563, the air cleaner housing?

I bought a GM kit soon after they were made available. They SAID it wasn't for L99, but it fit right in and I've really had no issues with it. Sometimes, not always, on a cold morning it would blip a flat spot right off idle briefly when taking off hard, but no codes and no problems so far.

It appears these things are going the way of the dodo bird. After all, they're getting to be 10 years old since the cars were last built. And the non-GM "replacement" air filter I've seen sells for around $200 in most places. WTF? Even the list price of the 564 GM Delco filter is $171 and change. But you can save a lot by searching around and get it for less than 100 bucks. But many more places are showing it as unavailable as well. So it may be good to stock up a little by grabbing a couple more while you can.

Correct, I was able to get the air cleaner housing and AC Delco OEM Z28 filter for about $280.

Definitely going to grab another filter if I see another good deal, scored mine for $50.

I couldn't believe they were asking $661 for the complete assembly but figured if I could piece one together for about the same price or less than the Cold Air Inductions unit I'd be OK.

Supposedly they will be back in stock on the 10th of December but who really knows. I heard they were going to have other stuff come out on a certain date and never did. I have one in box that was just used for dyno time from who I bought it from. I would not let it go for less than $1,200 with brand new filter.

Good grief. 661 now? I'm pretty sure I paid 402 and change from Jeg's when I got mine, with free shipping.

Well I ended up compromising and used a 4" carbon tube in place if the factory Z28 tube. Not horrible and I still came in under $400 for everything.
