Motor mount /transmission mount upgrades

Hi guys,
Apologies, if this should be in another place but I wasn't sure where to put it and I am sure you will move it and advise me if I am wrong.
It's time for me to replace my motor and trans mount (Auto L99).
For the Motor mounts I found some BMRs which have good reviews on the forums here. does anybody know of anything else worth looking at?
Secondly, I have reseached and I cannot find anything in the way of upgrades for the trans mount. I can get hold of the Original or stock version. Does anybody have any knowledge that can help me?
Appreciated
Neil

Lots of guys have asked about better trans mounts but the only thing I have ever seen is an insert.

Prothane is the only motor mount I have seen besides BMR and it is very similar to the BMR.

Thanks for your help @CamaroCracka. I can not find an automatic transmission mount (well an upgraded one over stock) on Prothrane or BMR. I found something on Summit Racing site but it lists it for the manual and the automatic. Which sounds strange because all the others are differently designed! Also they list one of the auto's trans as 4l80 not a 6l80. Of course I wrote to them.lol

It might be a mount for guys doing a 4L80 swap. Summit's descriptions are not always correct, but they probably more accurate overall than Jegs.

This is the one I used from RevShift. I'm not aware of any for the auto.

When you verify the fit, all the listings are for 4L80 and TR6060. I don't know if the 6L80 uses a mount similar to those, but if it does, it should work.

Hi,
Summit said that they had messed up the naming of the applications and would correct them. So it was confusing. Tr6060 is listed as an auto!
And there trying to tell me this will fit an auto. But I think it will fit only a manual!

The Revmoto Transmission mount insert definitely does the job... Its actually a REALLY tight fit, and makes the trans mount very stiff. When I installed mine, I bought a brand new GM transmission mount and added the insert to that. I will also say that it was a noticeable NVH increase. but my shifts felt firmer, I also had an MGW shifter, and stock fluid filled motor mounts. The Revmoto insert was money well spent in my opinion.

Didn't read the thread far enough to see that you have the auto... My mistake.
