I agree with some of the others that have posted about your roof. It doesn't look all that bad from the pics....

How about the side curtain airbags? did they deploy?
Just remember if you fix this write off it will have a branded title and you may have a hard time getting insurance for it. Plus it will have a way lower value than a non write off.

It will only have a branded title if the insurance company totals it, they are only totaling it because the cant get new parts. You can accept $9,000 and have it repaired yourself and it will just show as damage to the roof on a car fax. If you let them total it you can buy it back from them I am guessing about $10,000 or so and get it repaired. Resale will be less but if your not planning on selling its a non issue, if you do sell you will probably have at least $5,000 left over after a proper repair that should help offset the difference in resale.

Thank you to everyone for sharing their experience and advice. I really appreciate everything that was shared. I have a lot more options to think about and feel better about looking out for myself and not my insurance company. Hope you all have the best of luck with yours. <3
