2012 Rear Bulbs convert to LED

Does anyone know the bulb size for the rear tail light / brake light for the 2012 model? I get conflicting info. I'd like to buy a canbus LED replacement for the incandescent bulbs. I've done this on other cars I own and am pleased with the results vs. buying $400 LED Tailight assemblies. I guess I could always pull the current bulb... in storage now. Thanks

I saved this link in my favorites because a forum member installed them in his Camaro with no issues he said.

I converted nearly all lights on my 2013 1LE to LED from VLEDs back in 2019
They are based in Bellingham Washington and I have yet to have any bulb failure.

These are the ones I am running in the tail lights:
https://www.vleds.com/shop-applicati...it-r-3157.html

They are VERY bright and get people's attention.
They will require a small resister to not throw a turn signal warning on the dash, but the resister just plugs into the bulb. No need to splice in any wires. Very easy install.

Man. Do they send someone to install them? Those suckers are spendy for LED's.

Best LED bulbs out there. I have the XP80s with full black taillight covers and they are as bright if not brighter than the stock bulbs with no covers.

Yes, they are on the expensive side, but they are among the brightest in the market (800+ lumens) and very high quality.

Oracle Lighting is more expensive for what you get.

Gen5concepts makes modified oem sockets that you can run any led bulb in them without getting a fast flash error. Plug n play.
