Beautiful ZL1!! I think the most rare 5th Gen ZL1 is the Blue Ray Metallic in 2012. But this AGM is just as gorgeous!

Nice ride!
You might want to reconsider the Hurst shifter, the ZL1 shifter is much better. Something like an MGW would be an upgrade over the ZL1 shifter.

I have a Hurst shifter in my SS and honestly if it wasn’t part of the package of the car I would change it to anything else. Nostalgic wise it completes the car, practicality wise it is a pain. Every upshift has an annoying notching and in reality it doesn’t feel like a short throw at all. When I had a 2006 GTO I put a Hinson short throw shifter in it and that thing was amazing! Leaps and bounds over the stock shifter.

I have the hurst in mine as well, and as King said, you will find that it is "notchy" if you are doing some spirited driving. He has a Berger, and understand why he doesnt change his, but I am looking to change mine to an MGW as well

and SUPER nice car! How many miles on it?

I’ve gotten used to it, but I would love to have an MGW!

Buy the MGW and buy only once, if you want a Hurst because of the shift knob check out Epco, the have the adapter to use the their knob on a MGW.
