Wire for halos

I've seen adaptors to make the Halo's stay on all the time, just like I have for the fogs (now DRL's). But it seems to me they are nothing more than an adaptor plug and a run to the fuse box. If that's the case, I don't mind doing a quality job tapping the correct wires and making it myself. Does anyone know specifically which wire going in to the headlight plugs is for the halos?

I'll preface this by saying that I have Diode Dynamics color-changing halos so my setup is slightly different than what you are looking to do. I didn't realize until afterwards, but the newer Diode Dynamics controller gets power from two sources, which allows the halos to always come on.

Anyway, I made the connections at the factory bumper harness, but I may have only tapped into the DRL harness (the one that keeps them on with the headlights). From the Bluetooth controller, one red wire went to the Dark Blue (for the DRL's) and the second red wire went to the Brown with White Stripe (for the Parking Lights). The instructions from Diode Dynamics lists them as Pin B and D, respectively.

When I get home and look I can tell you the wire color. I will warn you tho it's not as simple as supplying power. You will need to splice into the side markers wire using a directional diode. The halos and side markers are on the same circuit. If you power one halo the adjacent side markers turns on as well.. you'll need to run power from your drl wire to the side markers wire using the diode so that power is 1 directional. I can send pics and a diagram if you like.its a very simple wire job.
