I wrote a very lengthy reply for the Tune and Warranty thread...............then I just figured I've tried to educate them enough...............so I didn't post it.............they just want to light the car on fire and have it covered under warranty....................grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

And why is that in the House Z? Cuz as Shnomac says, there is a difference between buying a Z from GM and making your own. One of those differences is the warranty.

Impatience breeds creativity. One good thing about a guy running a red light and totalling your 2ss is now I can order the Z28 which I really wanted. Yeah right! There is no good thing about it!

I even went as far as trying to special order an LSA in it this time. No dice. I guess the maggie will do. I just liked the duribility of the LSA over 200 hours at wide open throttle before it blew is impressive, especially for a guy like me who abuses his drivetrain. Oh the unicorn.

I'm curious... If they tune my car, and warrantee their work, THEN I adjust their tune and pop a rod... THEN restore the tune back to their values, do you think they would be ok with that?

Maybe we should rename this thread "ShnOmac's House of Z & Peace".
