I took mine off. if anyone wants them let me know and I will send them too you.....not that I do not like GM and all just did not like them on the side of the Camaro.

I heard that GM found that customers related more with the individual brands than with the GM name itstlf and this is why they dripoped the emblem.

El Diablo - where do you see any reference to the 6RP code? I ordered my car back on November 1, 2008 and can't find any reference to this. I hope I have just missed it. I even have the special letter with its photo from GM they sent to pre-orders proving it was a pre-order.

GM actually said they were doing this on all cars because they wanted to promote the individual brands and models instead of the one big GM name!

Your window sticker should state: "early order activity" = R6P code...and there is the code on the label in the trunk...someone posted that awhile back...

Huh, my camaro should be here in the next week or so. I wonder if they will be on?

It won't break my heart if they are not, as they were going to be removed anyway along with all the other emblems...
