Opinions on detail sprays.

I have been a constant user of Adams , Chemical guys , and Meguires products. I have been using Hydro Speed for my final detail spray after washing , but just recently gave the P&S Bead Maker a try. I am impressed with the deep gloss , shine , and slickness. But another friend of mine told me about Technicians Choice 582. Saying Bead Maker is out of date now for what other newer products can do. To me , it looked to do the same job. I am just courious what other people out there may think or be using. I LOVE a high bead slickness and high gloss on the car. Helps keep the car clean in the everyday rains here in Florida lol.

This is what I use, for about the last 12 or so years! And get these results. The Cherry Wet Wax on the right is what I use with my RO buffer.

Wow. I have yet to try the Chem Bro's stuff. What is the process, ie when do you use the Spray Wax versus the Detailer versus the sealant? And the Wet Wax is for machine buffing?

I have been using Grito's Garage products for a long time and have been quite happy with them.
I have or have used most of their product lineup and have not been disappointed.
Their spray on car wash and detailers are great and I keep the 1 gallon refills of each because I use them so often.

I used the Adams advanced graphene Ceramic on my car and touch it up with there advanced graphene quick detailer and I am happy with it. I also use Chemical guys and Grito garage quick detailers. I have a couple shevles with many products. I have a Gallon of Bead maker but I find it very hard to get off and it leaves a residue that is really noticeable on Black paint.

Hey there. What I do when I do the Cherry Wet wax with my orbital, or you can use it with a hand pad if you want, I decided to use my orbital because it says you can, and works better, I wash the car with the McGuires, or you can use soap and water, or clay bar it, after the wash, mine has never been clayed because the finish is still glass smooth from when we first did it 13 years ago and sealed it,Then I use the sealant before any of the waxes to seal the clear coat. I used the Cherry Wet wax to put a good coat of wax on her with the buffer, so I had a good base on the clear. In between now if I feel she needs more shine, I use the Blazing Banana spray to bring out more shine, gives her that wet look, of course do the McGuires before that to clean the surface. In between shows and cruises when I get back home, or before the shows I will wipe her down with the Quick Wipe spray detailer to clean and shine the car, and get the dust off from being covered up. After doing all this, my preference for the wax after a good base coat is the Blazing Banana spray, gives it a nice "wet" look. Be careful using the buffer on any vinyl, as it might put tiny scratches in it, did on my hood stripes, but not the car. It's been 2 years now since I did the Cherry Wet Wax, and still looks fresh!! One of my friends I hang out with on the weekends, everytime he sees my Camaro just can't beleive my Camaro is 14 years old and has NEVER been ceramic coated, and how glassy smooth the paint is! I tell him it's all in how you take care of your car from day one!!

"I use the sealant before any of the waxes to seal the clear coat". Does this product leave streak marks or a uneven finish if not applied correctly? I think some of the sealants are difficult to get applied correctly or evenly, and esp on Black Paint?

I have yet to use anything but Meguiars Wax's and Spray detail so far on the Bandit car that just got painted. Now that the Paint has prob fully gassed out (6-7 coats) it is time to get it fully detailed out. It seems you have a process that gets you great results, so it makes sense to duplicate what actually works well!

BTW - Washing the car and Clay Bar? Washing is for dirty cars and Clay Bar is for oxidized paint. Just kidding here, as my pampered rides never see rain or, hell, even real cloudy days But I think I will be driving and showing the Trans Am clone quite a bit this year, and want to keep the Black Paint like a mirror.

Ahh yes, my ride also never goes out unless it is sunny and clear as well!! When she's not being driven, she's all detailed and covered up for next time! Answer to your question on the sealant, I apply it with a soft micro fiber, and do a section at a time, wipe it off with a clean micro fiber after it hazes up. The trick with any of these products is to NOT use it on a hot or warm surface, or let it sit too long before you wipe it off, and it won't streak, mine never has. It's just like spray detailing the car. Chemical Guys even says you can use the sealant as an interim detail spray if you desire after washing. As for using it on a black car, you shouldn't have a problem, like I said, just don't use it on a warm/hot surface, and do a section at a time, wipe it off after it hazes. Works good for my baby!!

Spray detailer

Brother the chemical guys synthetic quick detailer is the best I've ever used. I buy it by the gallon on Amazon. Works perfect for wheels as well. My ZL1 has Gold chrome wheels and this detailer keeps them blindingly shiny.

So I ordered both of this CG's spray detailers and will see how they compare to this Mothers product that I have found that works well for a quick shine. I have found high gloss Black Paint hides nothing versus any other color.
