coilover install help

Anyone in the DFW area that has done Pedders coilovers wanna show me how the heck to do these?

Maybe I'm being obtuse or paranoid about this. But the instructions they came with are minimal at best. I've found older more verbose instructions, but getting a tad confused and also don't knowif there's been design changes since those writeups. Just finding myself really unsure and want to be right before I put it all back together. Especially since I have the whole cradle out for other components as well.

I think I need a solid video for dummies on these.

I used these videos to help put my pedders coils on. Im not a mechanic but this was an easy install. You dont have to cut the trunk like in the video, you just drill a hole on the rear bracket. Good luck, you got this!

Saw his front one, but kind of ignored it since BC. But it looks like they're about the same. And not hard. Will check out the back as well.

Never saw him calculating height adjustment, though. I'm wondering if they come pre-set to stock height or what? And can you measure and set them to be effectively 1.25" or whatever you want lower before even installing? Or do you have to install, re-clock, and then jack up and set them?

usually you set final ride height/alignment once installed unless there are markings on the strut for ride height to "pre-set" them before install, but I have never seen that

I found no markings, but they say they’re defaulted between 1 to 1.5. So I just measured and made sure they were locked in to same height. At least that’s the way the rear is since you have to pull them apart first. So I’ve got them built and we’ll see after I get the cradle in how far off I am from what I want.
