Rear cradle removal question (ABS connector)

When dropping the rear cradle do you have to disconnect the ABS connector above the cradle before lowering, or can you disconnect it when you lower it some?

Thanks in advance

You can definitely drop the cradle down a few inches without disconnecting. The first time I did cradle bushings, I completely removed the cradle, but I don't remember if I unhooked the connector prior to dropping it at all. I've done cradle bushings a couple more times and never touched the ABS connector to the cradle.
