5th Gen prices rising?

Hey all,

I'll try this again. Posted this morning and recieved a message mods needed to review. Never seen that before.

Anyways, based on some current circumstances I thought I'd see what my 2013 may be worth. I only looked on one site, but extremely low mile, well optioned 2SSs were all $30k and up. Are these pulling that kind of money now that no more are being made, or is that just what some folks are asking?

I've looked at KBB in the last 45-60 days or so and my 2015 2SS was still hovering around $28K. (private sale) And most folks here say KBB is the more 'generous' of valuation sites.

WOW! If anything, it's taken a hit. Today KBB say $21,757 for mine in excellent condition with 45,000 miles. I suspect it would be in the teens on Edmunds.

If it only had 9000 miles it's worth only $24K. So $30K for a 2013 seems out of line. At least on KBB.

What Happened to 5TH Gen Value Thread?

Did I step in it again with my replies? The Rebel struggle is real.

"Dealer Discussions?" He was talking about a 2013.

Makes perfect sense.

The entire used market is up. If the Camaros present itself as super reliable? It’ll skyrocket in value like older Toyotas have

I don't think the L99 with its AFM is ever going to be considered, "super reliable." But I hope I'm wrong.

I struggle between "I hope I never have to find out." and "This seems silly to keep." Prices in the 30's make the silly argument tougher to keep making. I agree KBB and some others look way less, yet anything I see listed on several sites with really low miles is asking those prices. They are obviously outliers in the data but they have to be selling or coming from somewhere.

Dang that's not bad... I have 106k miles on my 2010 2LT/RS with all the OE ZL1 take off's minus drivetrain including HUD and it is basically mint and serviced at dealership mostly. A few suspensions mods etc... I wonder what that would bring?
