Was the Magnaflow a direct fit? It looks shorter than the X-Section.

The 2-1/2" stepped diameter clamps allow for the different pipe diameters, and some vatiation in lengths when you cut out the cross section. So hold the MF up to the crossover of the adjacent Borla Pipes into and out of the X-Over to determine where to cut. The MF Muffler replaces the X-Over as it has that feature internally. |

It was 8 or 9 years ago I did this, so I am not sure if the MF slips over the Borla Pipes. But if you have the parts in hand, that is a easy check via measurements. I do know you only cut the X-Over at the rear, as the front part is a slip connection to the pipes exiting the Headers/Cats. Study all the pics.

Glad to help and it worked out - that is a big factor of this Forum. The Forum def helped me get info, suggested parts, and processes to build my Camaros. I documented my builds on the Member Car Journals, and took a ton of pics along the way, so I have alot of stuff as reference to share.
