Good mechanics in the central NJ area?

Apologies if this is in the wrong area, I haven’t been here in a bit…
Was just quoted $1,500 for rotors and pads for JUST the fronts on my 2010 2ss ... I know it doesn't cost that much, so I'm looking for some reliable auto shops in the Jersey area so I can get some quotes.. I don't mind traveling a bit further south.
Thanks in advance

I don't know how central it is, but NJ is a small state, right!?

Jerry P of Jerry's Speed Shop is a long time forum member, and a 5th gen owner and enthusiast. He's built custom parts for these cars, does cam swaps, etc in house. He would be a great point of contact for you.

Holy &%#, $1500???

That's 'I would rather not work on your car' type of money. Where the hell do some of these shops get the nerve to quote people prices like that? If you did your own work you could get a premium aftermarket brake kit with your choice of pad and rotor type for both axles for FAR less than half that amount.

I am sure if you keep searching you will find an honest shop with realistic pricing.

Thank you all for the suggestions! Much appreciated!
Yea I thought that price was beyond wild too tbh and wasn’t going for it esp with how much I researched and saw what average prices were. But def needed this community for shop recommendations 🙌🏼

Go to Jerry’s Speed shop. He is right off the garden state parkway.

He won’t rob you and takes pride in his work which is hard to find lately.

Only mechanic I let touch my camaro and I have had it for 11 years now.
