I had my key recall done many years ago and recently the second fob broke... the remote start button fell out same thing with fob one.
The stand alone key has a transponder in it and I couldn't program the new remotes. So I finally stopped procrastinating and took it to the dealership. They took one new fob apart and cut the switch blade key then used it to program both the new remotes. Then they returned the new fob just like the recall keys without the working switch blade. But both remotes work and as a bonus they reprogrammed my tire pressure monitors for free(I guess they seen the light on and just did it) As a second bonus the washed my car all for only one hour of labour ![]() So now my car is totally free of warning lights and my remote start works again

GPI ported intake/tb/heads, Tooley springs, CHE trunnions, Callies rotating assembly, Diamond pistons, GPI SS3 VVT, ATI 10% ud damper, Circle D 3800, Kooks ceramic coated lt's with green cats, Mishimoto rad & oil cooler, Derale trans cooler, Holley efi rails. DSS driveshaft, trutrac with 3.91's, G-Force renegades, Hendrix solid cradle bushings Bmr: poly diff bushings, Strange adjustable coilovers, sub frame connectors, ZL1 npps, controlled with a vac pump & mac boost control solenoid.

Question... I had a Borla Atak on my SS, it never popped or anything when i would rev it. they were the single outlet. I put a different Borla Atak on the ZL1, with the 2 outlets and it has always popped when i rev it. I thought that the headers and tune would clear it up, it did some but it is still there. the tuner said that it is the mufflers. is that the difference between the single out pipe vs the double on the ZL1? or is that the difference in the motor? Any ideas why that would be?
