Had a great time today, guys! Having fun in nice, fast cars is always great,
especially when nobody gets tickets! Lucky SSOOCH and slick1ru!

I dont have any pics yet, we got back from the horrible Jazz game late, so she hasn't had time to start cleaning up, converting and etc.

Good job, I knew you could do it!
I too love downshifting, how it kicks the RPM up high, sounds really cool.

Have a great day everyone.

Oh Brainheart on the wheel stickers it said that on the flat black the color would change because you have to use heat on the application of the sticker. Do you think it would change it to much? Can you post a picture of your GM chicklet for me and the size of it the ebay thing there are so many I don't know which one I would need.. Thanks for the info..

I am glad to see you all had a good time. Hopefully I will get my car by Saturday at the latest. Wish I could have made it to the cruise. Brighton was fun though. Did manage to go have lunch in Park city yesterday with my wife and that was fun also. I hope that we can get one more cruise before the weather takes a turn for the worst. I have about a zillion people I have to show the car too when I get it, so I'll probably rack up 300 miles just doing that hehe. Union Pacific has my car as of today, and has finally left Illinois so hopefully it gets cruising now. Crossing my fingers.... talk to you all soon

Wonder if you can do 7 way calling with OnStar? LOL!!!
Actually, I've given this quite a bit of thought in the past few weeks. I have a ham radio license, so my inclination is for us all to get ham licenses and hand held radios.... nah too expensive and not worth the effort. But we could get short range citizens band hand helds. They're fairly good audio quality and can usually go 1/4 to 1/2 mile or so in coverage depending on how much you spend on them. If we all got them, we could all hear whoever was talking. And they have enough channels now that we could be reasonably private.

"SSOOCH, this here's the Lightning, you got yer ears on? come on?" SSSKKKCH.

"A yeah... 10-4, Lightning, there's a county mounty hiding behind the diner in Stockton, you better hide the trunk monkey an' drop the shuttle booster. Ya copy?" SSSKKKCH

"Big copy there SSOOCH, I'll pass the word to the troops. Hide the California Duster, I got yer 6 man." SSSKKKCH

What about something like this? Couldn't we all have them and if we were on the same channel couldn't we hear each other? I don't know anything about this stuff so forgive my ignorance.

That could work Ssooch and next spring forsure I really hope we can plan an event at least a few times it would be cool.

Park City was nice stopped at the fudge shop I was good and only had a few bites of it kids ate the rest. I saw a Cyber gray SS and I got all excited and waved hi and all that jazz but they didn't seem to friendly. I saw on the license plate thing in the back they got it from Gus Paulos. Oh well right lol.. TO me its like we have a Brotherhood / Sisterhood thing going all because we love our Car.

Ok I think Im officially obessed when ever I drive my car soon as I get her back in her home ( garage) I have to vac the carpet, wipe / dust it, wipe off the rims from the brake dust. and today cleaned the glass .. What do you think????

Then I check her for any rock chips or things like that.... I was nervous parking up there but found a good end spot.. I wish I had something that if people got to close it would talk and say ' Step away from the car' lol ha ha ha ok not really but it would be funny. Or how about something like a Nanny cam but it would be a Cam Cam lol..

Yeah Im in a funny mood what can I say..

Pearldrums.. Can't wait to see your car and I know what you both are going through. I think this is the worst waiting part.. But man when you drive in to your dealer with that perma grin smile and see it for the first time all that waiting will have not been in vain.

ITs been 10 days since I got mine and I still feel the same as when I first saw it.

Soon as you all get them post some pics..

Maybe if next weekend or sometime weather permitting if we all meet up with the DD, Pearl and Owl and the rest of our group.. Maybe Slicks spot in Morgan biker bar place that would be a fun time..

Ok off to make dinner have a good one everyone.

This is exactly what I was talking about SSOOCH. But when it says 18-mile on it.... that's probably a "line-of-sight" very generous estimate. Over hills and thru buildings, not nearly that far. My family and I have used them at all kinds of places. It usually needs to be fairly quiet, they don't have a LOT of volume, but inside a Camaro would be fine. These would work very well for us when we're out cruisin'.

away,
from,
the,
car,
scumbag.
...or..... if they actually touch it I want something that strikes em with a lightning bolt. ZZOT.

Now, I SAID step away from the car, scumbag.

Evening all!!
I was chatting with Donna from Gus Paulos today and she says they are caught up on their orders and have a IOM up for sale. Also, the cars they have coming in are for stock. Wow, I didn't think that would happen until next year sometime.

Good find SSOOCH. And not expensive at all. I have a couple already but their range is only 4 miles.

I am glad ya'll had fun, and I love seeing the pictures. Such good representation for the 5th gens! Sorry i couldn't be there, but it couldn't be helped.

On a side note...I posted in the classified section the following: "I am looking to sell the stock RS (2) 245/45R20 & (2) 275/40R20 Pirelli zeros. I live in Northern Utah and would sell all four for $825 pickup, or $1025 delivered. They have approx 800 miles on them and will be coming off the car on 12-Nov, so I can deliver anytime after that."

...in case there were any interested parties local. I also put them on KSL, but for $900 there.

I'm glad no one got pulled over, especially you SLICK given past events!
