Last I saw, someone was trying to sell it like over half a decade ago on here, for $250 OBO. Is it made of aluminum and is powder-coated or painted?

Not that you probably don't already know, but most of the generic 14-15 Z28 replica spoilers, with the wicker bills, are pretty much a spot-on replica. The aftermarket replica spoilers go for about anywhere from $80-120, for the matte black ones, and around $140 for the gloss black ones. Prices may have lowered or varied since the last time I checked, however.

I just don't know if the actual OEM one is aluminum and painted, like the aftermarket replica stuff. I didn't think the OEM wicker bill had any brand markings or anything of the sort, but I figured I'd chime in anyways... Worst case scenario, if you have the OEM spoiler already, but maybe just need the wicker bill; get a cheap matte black one off of eBay and just sell the replica spoiler or keep it as a spare.

I am aware of the copies out there. The car I was going to put it on had only 1,747 miles and I wanted true GM only! The only marking in the factory one is the part number which when installed you can see anyhow. I just wanted to keep the car totally factory.
Thank you for the great response though!

just to confirm that I bought this one:
https://extremeonlinestore.com/colle...b3579ef4&_ss=c

material is definitely cheaper, but it's a spoiler and it bolts on correctly and does what it is supposed to do without any issue. $130 shipped.

I understand the will to get an original one for a special z28 with very low mileage. for everyone else, I just wanted to share that this one worked well for me
