Cyl 5 misfire
Car only has 34k miles. Rarely drive it all. Other day check engine started blinking. Anyone have a clue what do? I hate to bring it in and have nem parts change or charge a fortune for something I could do myself

Start by Swapping the coil and plug wire with the one next to it. If the miss follows the coil/wire to the next cylinder over you know exactly what you’re dealing with.

I forgot to mention I brought to a shop to diagnose and they said it doesn’t follow. It stays at cyl 5

Swap an injector over from another cylinder and see if it follows.
