My next upgrade is a set of Z28 with Giro Disc iron conversion rotors I got the hats for 200 bucks off eBay.
The Brembo HTC is also a very good fluid to use.
Also look over on the Corvette Forum C7 for sale threads and there’s several J56 brakes for sale, same caliper as ZL1 just different colors.
Hell there’s even a few J57 CCM calipers if you wanna go all out like I’m doing.
I would suggest a rebuild new inner and outer seals, the J56 and J57 pistons are the same diameter just a little different in depth, Racing Brake makes a cool set pistons as well the contact points are scalloped.
So good luck on your upgrade and if you need anything shoot me a message.
I was debating on going for C6 ZR1 or whatever C7 Corvette front, 6-pot brake calipers, but I figured they might need specific brake rotors and pads (I forgot at the moment). If you know the specific setups, feel free to share.

I've been trying to find old, used 2-pc 5th gen Camaro SS 1LE or ZL1 front brake rotors, but don't know where to find new rotor rings for them...

The search function here on the forums is wonky, better to use google.
Go to google and type in "cts-v 6 piston brake upgrade camaro5.com"

There's tons of info in that one thread alone.

If you use the J56 ZL1/Z06/GS 6 piston they are they same pad wise rotors are specific due to hat offset and stud diameter. I was buying Vette front pads for an average of 75-100 dollars a set because Vette guys don’t like the dust. It’s very difficult to find good used rotors try Rock Auto they actually have the Brembo branded rotors for less than 300 bucks each and eBay is a good source as well.
