Has anyone seen this in carbon fiber or know where i could get it laid? not hydrodipped. I just received mine today and thought it would look great in CF. I got a quote to get it laid for $1000

Try Anderson Composites, they took over from Seibon. I got my CF (real CF) from Moreno Bros for $500. I think they might still be the same price.

Just purchased 4Teen Hood Conversion Kit to extract the heat from the engine bay. Should I install the water tray. I was told that the heat will still be removed while the car is moving NOT while standing still. Any thoughts or comments. I would appreciate it.

What I can tell you as an engineer and as someone with a ventilated hood is: Whoever told you it wont work when the car is not moving is an idiot. The simple fact of adding a "vent" to the hood will encourage better thermal conduction. Hot air rises, cooler air comes to take its place, gets heated by your hot engine/radiator, then rises to continue the cycle. That is why some here have removed the weather stripping at the cowl to help alleviate the build up under hood heat. You will see it while you sit in traffic. The heated air flowing out of your hood vent, even sitting still without the fans running. When the car is moving, that process is made much more efficient by allowing the air to flow into the radiator and be vented out as you drive along. It will also alleviate under hood air pressure at higher speeds. Plus your fans will encourage that flow while you are stationary as well. The rain tray will restrict the flow a bit, but it will be better then nothing.
