I have the 3" Corsa Extreme cat-back with LT headers and no cats. I run two 10" Borla in-line resonators to quiet my system down for the track I frequent that has a 96db sound limit.
The car was blowing over 100db before I added them in, and now its around 92db.
Borla advertises that the resonators will knock the volume down by 10db and that seems to be true for me!

Thank you Trawz, I'll keep that in mind.
I've been doing research on Camaro6 and the guys there are running the Magnaflow resonated x pipe 3in. They tested it with success pushing 700-900whp with 13-20 pounds of boost.
The only downside is you have to make sure it's a true X and not a double Y inside the muffler. The double Y merges into a single 3in pipe in the middle which some have reported it restricting the cars power at WOT. So I think I'm going to give it a shot and ensure it's indeed a true X before I put it on.
I'm just shy of 700whp and 11psi so I think this may work for my application.

Do you have Headers as well? Other than the loud bark on startup, I like the J-pipes and don't want to add mufflers in place of drone. So you adding the magnaflow x-pipe intrigues me since muffs prob won't fit along with the j-pipes.

Just a note, the J-pipes are what tones out your drone, installing the mid muffler will not cause any drone to suddenly appear, it will just knock down the loudness of the system. Most aftermarket axle back mufflers are what causes the drone, the J-pipes are what cancels it out.
