Alright got the gear ratio noted lol. I found out the wheels
that are on it are pretty expensive and have brand new tires. So going to sell them locally to get some good drag racing rims and tires. Those of you who drag race what sizes are you guys running and what brand? Also thanks for all the help!

Yeah way too much rim for my taste. Cant wait to get some much smaller more old school looking rims. Torquethrusts might be in order.

Andrew definitely knows much more than I do but I do have to say a ET street R on a FBO setup is completely over kill. Your car will make 380ish whp. Nitto NT555RII and ET Street SS are a good street / strip tire. You can run into rain with them and have great manners on the street.
Me personally i would do an autocross/road course setup. 19in rim in either 1LE or Z/28 specs. You can snag a used set of APEX rims off the for sale section. Then you can run a sticky street tire like a Toyo R888R or Bridgestone RE71-R. They wont help you cut a good 60ft because of the super stiff side walls but with the low HP through an auto, shouldn't even matter. That's my .02 but if your looking strictly into the drag look and drag setup. Andrew's advise is top notch.

With that budget, are you doing your own work or paying someone?

I do most everything I used to be an ASE certified mechanic. The only thing I wouldn't do is gears that is an art form and I have only ever done differential r&r's.

Will 17's fit in the rear without any modification? Like trimming the calipers ect?
