Show me your oil cooler
Im looking into going to a larger turbo from AGP which requires the factory oil cooler to be deleted. What are you FI guys doing for oil coolers. Very interested in seeing setups from members running front mount intercoolers.

I can't fit an oil cooler up front with the intercooler, so I tucked it up inside the frame. Lousy air flow, but wanted something. I go to Sebring in early Oct so I'll know more then.

Do you have a photo of what you did? What brand did you use?

I mig welded the mounting brackets, so definitely not bolt on. I used a Derale cooler, which has since gone down in price. The parts I used are below.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004XONT3E...d_asin_title_2 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072MKMWFM...d_asin_title_4 https://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-221414B Here are the pics. If this does not keep it cool enough, I will have to build a shroud with a cooling fan behind the cooler (toward the rear of the car not above it) to pull air in from the top front and exit at the lower rear. That or relocate it, perhaps behind the diff where the garbage can mufflers were, with a fan on it.

Do any of you guys think the On3 turbocharger kits are any good, for our 5th gen Camaro SS'? I've been debating it since 2023, but have yet to make a solid decision.
They also have a lot of options, as far as what turbocharger, waste gate, and intercooler you can have. They also have a ton of other optional add-on's, like boost controllers, ethanol safe fuel pumps, etc. |

Ok, maybe the kit was never meant for 800hp, but once you spend at little time around the 580 mark, you are probably going to want to turn it up and it won't like it. Here is the On3 thread link https://www.camaro5.com/forums/showt...&highlight=on3
