Aftermarket Rear Upper Control Arms?

Converting to FE4, have everything but was looking into the rear upper control arms and I see that no one makes any aftermarket ones? Does anyone know why that is it if there is any aftermarket ones that are trustworthy? Was looking into BMR rear upper control arm bushing kits and thought I might as well see if I can upgrade all of that too

Never seen an aftermarket rear UCA. As far as I know the best replacement for the UCA inner bushing (at the subframe) is the factory Z28 one, but if those aren't available I imagine the BMR one is a worthwhile upgrade as the factory bushing has gaps/voids which result in unwanted dynamic alignment changes.

Nobody really makes full aftermarket uppers for these cars. From what I’ve seen it’s mostly because the stock arms are already plenty strong, so the aftermarket just focuses on bushings instead. The BMR bushing kits are a solid upgrade though, that’s usually the route guys take if they’re freshening things up.

Would it be wise to, I guess, freshen up the UCA’s then by buying new ones of OEM spec? I haven’t been able to get under the car recently to see the condition of them but after 15 years I’d assume even the strong components needs some touch up since I’ll be throwing in new bushings

The Z28 inner upper bushings are nice.

In multiple pictures this looks like an aluminum upper control arm. However description says “steel”

I bought factory control Arms. $90 or less each. It’s unfortunate they no longer make the z28 bushing. But I’m sure the zl1 bushing will be fine for 99% of people
