Power steering pump options

Hello all. Currently working on putting an ls3 from a 2014 Camaro into my Nissan 240sx. I bought a ps kit https://www.chasebays.com/products/c...5a89aef2&_ss=r
I’ve used this same kit before with a 5.7 ls out of a Camaro and it worked perfectly fine. Can’t say the same here. I bought a ps pump from a 2012 Camaro, removed the attached reservoir and it uses a tapered tube from the reservoir. The press in fitting provided in this kit won’t fit the stock pump, but says it’ll fit a corvette one.

Then I tried ordering a ps pump from turn one for a 10-13 Camaro, it came with a reservoir attached as well, and this won’t work. Do you guys know of any plug and play pumps to use a “relocated” ps reservoir? Or if a corvette pump would bolt to my motor and pulleys line up properly?

Only other thing I can think of is have someone weld a fitting to my pump, but since it’s cast everyone recommends against it..

I believe I saw a thread where someone put in a Volvo electric pump. Apparently, they are quite commonly used in transplant builds.

Wait, so what power steering lines and rack do you have? I figured there are custom brackets out there, but I haven’t done too many LS swaps in non GM vehicle platforms, so I wouldn’t know.

At first, I thought you had the 5th gen (10-12) Chevy Camaro SS V8 (6.2L - LS3/L99) PS lines and was wondering why the Turn One pump for it didn’t fit. Do you have any photos of your setup?

I bought a Turn One pump with AN lines, back in late 2023, but ended up selling it and went back to stock OEM pump on my Camaro. I’m highly assuming you might be using this as a drift build?

I have a stock pump, but I've seen videos where guys did LS swaps and used a remote electric Volvo set up. It's not something you would want to do with a Gen5 since there are factory pieces that work. That is about all I know about it. Lines should not be a big problem. I put an aftermarket PS cooler by cutting the existing lines and converting them to AN with a tube nut and flaring tool.

I added a couple pics of the ps cooler, but the turbo is in the way of getting pics of how I modified hose to accommodate AN fittings. I did this because the I had a failure on the return line and they are no longer available. I would not do this on the pressure side that goes from the pump to the rack as those are readily available.
