Camaro would crank no start after leaving the windows opened?

I'm just curious if others have ran into this type of issue before here. Went into a grocery store to grab some stuff quick, wasn't even 5 minutes or so and i left the windows opened a bit cause it was a decently hot day. Once i came back out the car would crank but no start and after getting a jump it was fine besides the car telling me to open and close both windows. I've only owned the car for a few months now (about 7 or 8) and think it could be an old battery but was curious if any owners have heard of this issue before. Many thanks in advance!

Yep, battery is or has taken a dump.. It was dead enough you couldn't start it, and is why the window message came up, and the fact you could jump start it, says that it is dead..
