HVAC suddenly shuts off, both sides go hot with a noise in dash

Hello, 2016 Camaro v6. AC on working well then suddenly turns hot on both Drivers and Passenger side with a noise in the dash when this happens. Shortly later and it works well. I have been fighting this issue for years.
New and programmed HVAC controller, new relay, new low/high pressure switch, new thermal expansion valve. No data codes in computer.
Please help.

Check the refrigerant levels?

GM has acknowledged that the high side port is prone to develop a significant leak due to their rubber ball valve design instead of the normal schrader valve and it's recommended to change it ever couple years if using a oem port or swap to an aftermarket port that uses a schrader valve.

And maybe post your problem in here. Your cam5 logon will work in here too, mine does. Good luck.

Have you replaced the blend door actuator? Have you ever had mice in the car? If yes, they may have chewed a wire harness.

If it's a loud clicking noise, it's the blend door actuator. Not hard to replace, just hard to get at, most of the time.
