Hey All,

Sorry in advance if this has been asked and answered, but search is failing me.

Does anyone know the correct paint code for the rear spoiler? My car is black, and I thought I had read it is the same color as the car, but the clear coat is different so that it gets the matte / satin look?

My spoiler got tree sap or something on that marred the paint and looking for a repaint.

On a side note hood wrap is up for replacement and I'm thinking of getting the hood painted to match the spoiler. Anyone do this and if so happy with the results?

I copied this years ago off of this forum. I can only assume it is correct.

You guys gonna love me!! I got the paint code from Mr Adam Barry himself at Camaro5 Fest, he wrote it down on a piece of paper for me.
8555 40 Gloss Black

I had my after market spoiler paint matched. They used a matte clear and custom mixed the black. The hood wrap is 3M. So a good body shop will be able to paint match. I gave them a piece of 3M wrap and they matched it perfectly.

WA8555 is the standard gloss black for all Camaros. Id believe this is correct with a matte clear. I know this works for touch up paint for rims. Just paint it on without clear and it matches the rims
