Square setup 2012 2LT RS?

I just purchased a 2012 2LT RS recently. It has 52K miles and has quite a few aftermarket add-ons including exhaust system, cold air intake, oil catch can, Hurst short shifter, and strut tower brace.

Today while looking into my RPO codes and the rims and tires I noticed that it had 275/40Z R20 106W tires all the way around (all four tires).

I also determined that all four rims are the same width as well, 20X9, square setup.

Is it possible that the factory or dealer did this? My car has the stock bright chrome rims (20X9) all the way around.

How common is this on an RS? Did the previous owner do this you think?

Thanks,
Curt

p.s. This car is my 6th Camaro/Firebird that I have owned over the years of my adult life.

Yeah, if you have a square setup on there now, someone has changed them.

The square setup was never stock on a regular RS....HOWEVER, there has been a LOT of people have gotten an extra pair of rears, myself included, that went for a square setup on their Camaro.....it improved the handling characteristics of the car. AND it also allows the ability for you to rotate your tires.
