Roto Fab VS Roto Fab Big Gulp Vs CAI on and LSA SC set up Which one?
I'll be adding a LSA SC to my LS3 and will hav to replace my current CAI brand intake, Regular Roto Fab VS Roto Fab Big Gulp Vs CAI.
Pros and Cons of each. I always preferred the look of the CA brand and it worked well with the scoop. I see a lot of people lean towards the Roto Fab so I am wondering which you guys think. Thanks

jlt makes big power for the price. im currently Roto Fab big gulp. ive had the Jlt, RPM 5" and also the Vararam intake. if i had to rank them it would be:
1. roto fab 5" big gulp 2. jlt 5' 3. Rpm 5" 4. Vararam. 4" The 5" are for big HP combo's if you are ok with under 700hp I would go regular roto fab. If i were you i would just go with the Jlt intake for the cost $290 car ran great with it and made 738 HP. 750 tq.

Thanks for the suggestions, Is there any reason to get big gulp If I don't plan to break the 750 range? Regular Roto Fab will cover up until then?

Is there any reason not to run the Big Gulp? Is it a waste and my set up can't use all the extra air? Do any of these change the sound of the SC?

The big gulp requires atleast a 102mm Throttle body. To have a 102mm Throttle body on an LSA requires the snout to be professionally ported as it can only fit a 90-92mm. You can have an adapter to fit a smaller throttle body but you would essentially bottle-neck the big gulp which negates the point of having it. Its also a little much unless your going for like 650+ whp. Regular Rotofab is more than good enough for anything under 650whp.

Gotcha do the other 5 Inch ones listed above require adapters and what not?

JLT Appears to be apart of S&B which I run their CAI on 3 Dodge Ram Pickups, A 5.9 Cummins,6.7 Cummins and a 5.7 Hemi and they are top notch at least for the trucks. I honestly like the look of the CAI brand currently on my camaro and with the Scoop you noticed a difference.

Does anyone have any experience with the CAI Brand with the cold air scoop and a Supercharger, I am listing to the suggestions made but I really do like the look of the CAI brand, and I know on NA builds it is well regarded but wondering about FI.
Thanks

I’m running a reg roto-fab intake . Was told by my tuner ,it was not worth it unless I get up to bigger cubes ,only so much air can go into our cylinders .
Although,I do see a lot of people running the 5” intake ,I’d definitely would love to see a comparison . I have fully ported lsa w nw 103mm
