HVAC Mode Door - Actuator???

I am having some intermittent issues with having the mode door change on a 2011 Camaro SS. Sometimes the mode of the hvac doesn't seem to want to change from the floor to the dash vents. Sometimes it is just fine. Other times it seems like I can hear the fan running on high and no air is coming out of the vents.

Has anyone run into this issue? I am hoping this isn't a symptom of the good ole blend door.

Thanks for your help with this. I did a lot of searching and couldn't seem to find much on it.

I'm no expert, but I did spend three days on my back hacking my old blend door out and putting my new, aluminum blend door back in. But I'm thinking there is some sort of blend door-like component that cycles where the other air flows too. Like to the floor, dash or windshield.

Maybe you've ID'd a whole new blend door issue! I hope not but it must be that or the actuator motor(s).
