Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and new to Camaro. I have owned hundreds of cars over the years, but have never owned a Camaro. I acquired a 2015 2SS RS convertible that was run hard and put up wet. I am now working on putting it back together. That being said, there is a part I need that seems to be hard to find. It is the backing/retainer plate for the SS emblem in the grill. I think the part number is 22829512. Does anyone know where I can get one? Thanks in advance for your help. Ken

I should clarify to everyone that this is a discontinued part that I have been looking for for about a month now. If you know of a junk yard that may have one, I'd like to get their info. So far, when I ask about it, the yards just dismiss me. Thanks again for any help. Ken

Try these folks, they have a 2014 in the yard, which is the same as your 2015, if it is an SS model. Maybe they could pull the part if they have it. Good luck.
