LSA SC on LS3 Stock Lower 2.55 upper Okay?

Hi,


So as you guys know i I plan to Install an LSA on my LS3, the kit I purchased has a 2.55 upper and I plan to grab a stock LSA lower IS this combo okay? I have a Ported LS3 TB and Headers with a CAI otherwise motor would be stock. I plan on running a ZL1 Fuel Pump and upgrading the LSA injectors. Thanks

Depending on your shift point, a 2.55" should net you around 11-12psi. Not sure how a stock bottom end LS3 can handle that as I currently have a 2.55" upper on my ZL1 (14psi with Kong Port). Depending on your power goals, the ZL1 pump and injectors might not be enough for you...

Ethanol isn't easy to find around here so I have no plans to , power I'd like to be some where in the 550 to 600 range. I am not sure what to do pulley wise.

I feel you, I'm in Jersey so Ethanol is a headache to find around here. Funny enough my ZL1 is right around 600wheel right now with a 2.55 upper, stock lower and ported blower. For injectors you always wanna go bigger so most people get 1000cc injectors and they are more than enough with some room to grow. I'll actually be selling some ID1050x's in January after I put on my next set of mods. PM me, I wanna see what other mods you plan on doing. Might be able to give some guidance.

Anyone else have any ideas on what would be a good Pulley size to run? 2.55, 3.00 or something in between?

I am looking at a 5% ATI lower Balancer pulley combo, How does that change things, If 2.55 isn't a good choice is there another I should try? I do want a safe combo and also would like the most I can get out of it.

These are questions you should really ask whoever is tuning your car.
You can read my signature to see what I did on my LSA blower setup on my LS3.
2.5 upper and 10% lower.
I have a flex fuel tune. Can run 91 or full race E85.

Yes I have been in contact with my tuner and I am taking his advice but I do like to do my own research and try to learn as much as possible, and then Him and I can discuss it and come up with a plan that we both agree on.


Jeff You run that set up on a stock bottom end?
I am looking for a nice all around set up.

So I have a 5% ATI lower Balancer pulley ID1050X injectors Going to run a ZL1 pump Thinking a DSX aux pump and a PD Cam ad headers does this make the 2.55 upper Pulley a safe choice to run now? I did speak with ADM since a lot of the LSA conversion parts came from them and they said it is a combination they use often.. I don't want to bother the tuner with every question I have at the moment.

If you're going through all this trouble, you should just do a full Fore Innovations fuel system. As I've said in some of your other threads, buy once cry once. I'd rather go overkill and have a higher ceiling for the future or for just more safety.

Things to never go cheap on with cars:

Brakes
Fuel systems

Is the DX Aux pump along with the Zl1 pump not capable of my power goals? I was looking into the Fore set up and there were a bunch of different Options even with Pri and Sec pumps.


I am hoping to get to the 650-700 HP Range.
