Which 17" Inch wheels fit with no issues?
Hey Guys! I have a 2013 ZL1 on stock height, stock suspension and stock brakes. I am approaching the power level where I'll need some meat out back to hook on the street. I would like to know what 17inch wheels (and what specs) fit our cars without ANY modification such as trimming down bolts/brakes? I'm fine with tying back the brake line. Going for non-beadlock and enough space so the wheel weights wont be kocked by the caliper or something (a balanced wheel is a happy wheel lol.)
I spoke directly with weld wheels and they told me that any of their 17x10 et 42 wheels will fit without any modification. Can anyone confirm if this is true? Hoping to fit a 305/45r17 tire back there. Not the focus of this post but tire recommendations are welcome !If there are truly no 17inch wheels that fit without modification then I'll probably end up going with an 18x10 weld wheel with a 305/40r18 or 315/40r18 tire... 13' ZL1 Auto: CAI, 95mm TB, Kong Port, 2.55 upper, DSX Aux Pump, ID1050x, Kooks 1-7/8 LT/HF Cats, Corsa Cat-Back, Catch Can, 160 Therm, NGK Plugs, MSD Wires |

weld, vms, racestar all fit without much mods. You may have to tie the brake cable back. I have a set of black 18" racestars with brand new tires for sale, if you are interested and on the eastcoast. i weighted them with nitto 555r11 on each, the stock zl1 5 spoke and tire weight 61.8lb with a 305 and the racestar with same tire but a 315 weighted in at 54.4lb
