WHERE DID THE TIME GO??

Man I'm reading through the forum this morning and glanced over at my avitar, and didn't realize I'm over 14K posts!!! Dang, I guess I spend too much time on the forum, but it is fun to connect and share with a bunch of fine Camaro loving people! It seems like I just joined yesterday, and feel like one of the OG people on here, except I started 2 years after they all did in 2009. It's just like being retired, when I did that 6 years ago I thought time would slow down a bit since I wasn't working in the rat race anymore, but no, time seems to just fly by now!! Anyway, love you guys and gals! Hope to be around and helping you all out the best I can, and helping you spend your money on modding these cool Camaros!! God bless you all! And thanks.

Wow, 14K posts and nearly 15 years! Time definitely moves quickly. I always enjoy reading your informative and entertaining posts especially when they're accompanied by stunning photos of your Camaro. I spend a considerable time on this forum also but it's a great escape from the daily grind and conventional internet negativity. I recently browsed through the Summit White thread thinking I posted some pics of my Z a year or so ago only to find out it's been nearly 6 years. Gonna have to remedy that!

Yeah time does fly! I have over 20 years on the thirdgen.org and in early 2k I joined thecorvetteforum.com for 11 years then back to thirdgen.org. Been on ModernCamaro.com with my former 2011 SummitWhite but didn't like the ads... then joined this site. It has been nothing but a learning experience from the get go. Great place to be!

I value this community a lot. I frequent this site numerous times daily. This and Camaro6 since my wife owns a 22 1LE A10. Camaro5 is definitely my home. My car wouldn't be what it is today without the knowledge and expertise on this forum. I even switched my insurance on my camaro recently because of the suggestions here. You guys and gals are awesome. Wish I wasnt so far from Bowling Green. Its always been a dream of mine to go to Camaro Fest.

Gotta say Wayne, when I got my car, you were the first to jump in and help. All the texts and chats we've had, has helped make my car what it is today. Im a newb here for all intentional purposes but have enjoyed all the interactions with you all and the chats we've had as well. Fantastic community, knowledge and friends here.

I got my car literally 2 days before covid hit. It was going to get flipped for a C7 vette. Well that didn't happen & I couldn't be happier. I have been on a journey here that is priceless. From taking the plastic cover off the motor & cringing to ripping the car apart from front to back, I couldn't have done it without you all here @ C5.

Camaro5 has been a big help to me, because of great people like y'all!

Just got back on the forum after a few years Camaro-less.
But am getting a Summit White 2015 SS Commemorative Edition, with only 15k miles, so happy to be in a Camaro again.
Currently making my mod list.

Time flies, when i go back and re-read my journal I realize that I have gone through a lot, but this community and my car remain the constant variable. I am sincerely grateful for the people I met, the help that is offered and the conversations that are had.

I was reading an article yesterday about how the original intent of the internet has been lost to AI slop, companies mining for data and toxic environments, but this site is like a safe haven where I feel like I can be open and honest and not fear judgment and negativity. Even if I may have different beliefs or because of where I live and work rubs some the wrong way, none of that is apparent here and I am grateful for this community.

I don't want to jack the thread, but what 1JEWLD wrote really hit me and really resonated with the feelings. Hope that this oasis can stay strong!

Thanks guys! You are all so kind, and the reason I am still on here. The thought that we have such a really cool family of Camaro owners and lovers is just amazing! I appreciate everyone of you and love sharing, chatting and just being a part of it all! And like a lot of you, we have done a lot with our Camaros, been there, done that, and for all I have done with mine, just love to help out and share what I have learned and experienced. It is a pleasure for sure! Would like to personally thank everyone of you for your friendship, excepting me as someone you can go to for assistance, just makes it all worthwhile! I need to get some more "fresh" pics of my baby to post, but I don't want to overdo her welcome and post pics of her too often and you guys get tired of seeing her. She is beautiful, and if it weren't for YOU guys gals, she wouldn't be who, and what she is! "Badnasty Ruby." Thank you ALL again... Wish you all the best in 2026...
