Thanks! Yeah, that surge is on cold start and last for about 30 seconds or so but seems like forever lol.. I need to see if I can figure that out in the tune.

Cool video from Vasko Speed showing the work he is doing on my car. He does weekly videos and does a lot of cool projects.

Mine starts at the 12:35 mark.

For anyone thats concerned about the Z28 emblems, none of those have made it on my car. In fact, I've removed all of the badging except for the front flow tie and rear bowtie (which has a carbon overlay now).
I am doing some touch ups on the flares on my Z/28. On the front flares below the orange reflector, how did you get them to meet flush with the fender/bumper?

For the front fascia, there should be 4 screws that help keep the base of the flare pulled in to the fascia. For the edge of the flare, mine came from GM with a thin strip of 3m adhesive tape already installed. I sourced some of that to keep them nice and tight.
I've only replaced it on the fascia part of the flare a time or two thankfully. Its getting close to needing it again though..

I know I haven't posted much in a while but here is a quick update.

The Saturday after Christmas the weather was awesome and Tulsa Raceway decided to have a TnT. Took the car over and made 5 passes, with 9.578 being the best pass of the day. Car did really well, was very consistent, 9.613, 9.614, 9.617.

Here are a few pics -

After getting home from Tulsa I started working on a battery cutoff switch to mount on the rear bumper to be NHRA compliant.

In order to complete this I needed two relays, one by the battery and another between the alternator & fuse box.

To make that all work out I removed the factory battery cable so I could re-route it and add a little more length under the hood. Boy is that thing long! lol Thats 21' of positive battery cable.

Next was a discovery that I wasn't expecting. Now I did notice that the charging volts at Tulsa seemed to be a bit low, 13.0/13.1V but just thought the battery might be low. Boy was I wrong. After removing the harness from the alternator/starter/fuse box, this is what I found at the alternator connection.

So ordered some wire from ProWire.com and reworked that mess.
