Lookin good! I had C5 z06 wheels on mine also! My father had a z06 and I took them when he got new wheels. I had the black tail panel on mine also.

The z06 wheels looked the best to me, great color contrast also. The tail panel being matte black really looked clean with the 6LE valance I put on it. Back when 6LE got products out lol I think I got 1 of only 5 valances they produced in this style.

Unfortunately I never got to have the exhaust fixed and lined up before I sold it the first time. Damn I miss seeing that ass lol

I remember 6LE and all that drama. I actually gave him some measurements from my OEM center mount exhaust valence!

Dang! I actually met Mark in 17 or 18 at a Camaro Carshow in SoCal, he seemed like a nice guy. The balance was the only thing I ever bought and seeing all the drama, I’m glad I didn’t buy anything else lol

I do an appearance mod every year on the anniversary when I bought it new and in seven weeks it'll be fourteen years. Trying to decide what mod this year. The way the weather's looking this weekend it might be a snowplow tho. 🥶
lol, I remember that.. You're welcome! I do think these Camaros look awesome with the Heritage grilles. I got lucky and got mine for FREE!! When I was looking for one, my parts dept friend found two, but they were both damages on the corners, paint chipped off, and there were no more he could find, so I said I'll take one anyway, so he gave it to me! Cost me 50 bucks to have it painted by my paint guy!!

Like that old guy with the 69 Camaro that Dave Kindig customized for him a second time on Bitchin Rides, if your car doesn't make you stop and look back at it, you need a new car!! These Camaros will NEVER lose their appeal...

Thank you bud I sure do miss that car! I bought it completely bone stock in 05 and did so many tasteful mods to it over the years.

Agreed,
Here in Sarasota Fl you rarely see anything older than 3 or 4 years old let alone an early 5th gen Camaro with the chiclets. Other than a few subtle changes I've kept mine 95% stock and looking new. Even with all the $100, $200.000 cars around I
still get stares and complements when I take it out. At the Ritz Carlton this past
Summer I pulled up to the entrance. When I got out the greeter ran up and
stated he would park it right out front .......with all the high end cars. Love my SS.

Dejavu of my old 69 I used to own, plus I loved the body lines of the Camaro over the new stangs and challengers, which I've owned both before, they just didn't look like the "old school" cars I owned, except the Camaro, it had the look. So off I went and bought the one I have in the RJT color right off the showroom floor! Apparently someone ordered it, then changed their mind on it, mine now!! lol. Like was mentioned above, I've made a LOT of online friends on here, you included, but just wished the Camarofest's weren't so far away from me, would love to meet "the family".. Anyway, we shall carry on and keep our passion for these awesome Camaro's going!! Cheers everyone!!
Was also cool that the 2010s were basically numbered by VIN. Mine was 8,674. CamaroFest has always been a long drive for me but I've made all 14 of them plus Factory Fest in Lansing and the 50th Celebration in Detroit along with the 6th Gen Unveil at Belle Isle. It's definitely been a great hobby. As you say the online family is pretty cool as well and I do prefer these forums over FB for that too.

I was blown away and told my Grandson that the day the Camaro could be ordered I would do so. I had my name at a few local dealers stating I would pay MSRP. Some blew me off as they would sell all they could get at above that amount. Then the Summit White I insisted on was delayed several weeks. Finally ordered my SS with every option available at the time. Got it on 8/21/09. We are both going strong after 15 years and 74,000 miles.
Pretty sure you are the oldest (not age) active member at #1,986. I'm 4,884. I remember very well when we had our 1st Summit White show up at a Houston Camaro Club meeting. Then later I bought a 2012 and 2017 Summit White. I absolutely love 5th Gens like yours that are pristine...

And don't forget that illusive 7mm on each corner. I did the same with my CGM and then put the SS emblem in the middle.
