Well in mine when we have done it, it's always been a flush and filter change. 135k miles, 15 years old... Cammed and stalled...

There seems WAY more to it than that. Just the warm up to a specific temperature to check the level at the pan is a procedure. Not to mention dropping the pan, cleaning the pan, changing out the filter....

Like the guy who did the complete blend door repair in "15 minutes." I can't find the thread now but apparently I bought the wrong model of Camaro!

How so? Say you drain 5 quarts of fluid. Drop pan, change filter, re-install pan. Add 5 qrtrs fluid back in. Start car and check where fluid is at and add more if need be.
